Introduction to Construction
Connections Training and Staffing offers the most comprehensive training course to shape individuals to
the construction industries and their operations.
The aim of this training is to provide entry level candidates with a good understanding of construction processes, procedures and terminology in order to incentivize employers to hire outside of their usual parameters.
Therefore enabling a candidate who wouldn't otherwise qualify, to showcase their ability to construction employers.
Each training session may vary in content depending upon the employer's needs.
Because this is a customized employer required training some modules may be changed to better suit your needs. However, the basic structure of the training course can be summarized by the following layout:
Day 1: Introduction & registration. Introduction to safety on the construction site: Who's who on a construction site? This includes an overview of construction terminology.
Day 2: OSHA 10 training or review
Day 3: OSHA 10 training or review
Day 4: Hands on tools training
Day 5: Reading blue prints, employer specific employee handbook, questions and wrap up. Graduation!
